How the systems fit together
One Building, One Mechanical System
Four European manufacturers, planned and supplied together. Heat is collected, topped up, moved through the building and released into the room — and every stage of it is bolted, clamped or anchored to the structure. Planned together, each part is sized to match the others. Planned separately, each one limits what the others can do.
Heat source
Solar collectors carry the base load, preheating the stored water. The boiler makes up only the shortfall, at night and on overcast days.
Distribution
Pipework, manifolds and controls carry the heat to where it is needed, balanced loop by loop against the heat loss of each room.
Into the room
Underfloor heating warms the whole floor surface, and the water it sends back is cool enough for a condensing boiler to reach the efficiency it is rated for. In a building that is already finished, radiators are the practical choice — they warm a room quickly and never touch the floor — but they need much hotter water, so the same warmth costs more to produce.
And underneath all of it: what holds it to the building
Every stage above ends at an anchor or a bracket. Manifolds bolt back to walls, pipe runs hang on clamps and rails, boilers hang on brackets, and collectors stand on the roof slab. Where these are specified with the system, we can supply them from the Fischer range.
Fischer Anchoring & FixingCooling is sized from the same building model: the walls, windows, orientation and how the space is used set the heat loss, and they set the cooling load too.
The Five Lines We Supply
Four are authorised distributorships from named European manufacturers, supplied direct with no middlemen. The fifth is independent HVAC consultancy: we hold no air-conditioning stock, so the specification follows the project rather than the shelf.
